mark tremonti charcoal burst

I want to get one sooooooo bad. I am actually selling my Tri-Color one on the bay (http://cgi.ebay.de/PRS-Paul-Reed-Smith- ... 35a6da5826)

How long is the waiting time if you order one? Like 2 months or something?

probably six months to get it in Germany. Maybe after the Musik Exhibition in Frankfurt one store might get one.

just check often to grab yourself one or ask them if they plan to restock the charcoal model.

Well, I'm sorry I have to say this. You're screwed then !

They all turn like this, my bhuddy got one too, they all look like this. You have to cope with this or save some money for a private stock model, to have it look like like mark's guitar. I mean, what do you expect? This guitar has a killer sound and a great look, fits perfectly into my collection.

I guess i'm just disappointed that after spending $3000 or so on a guitar that you have to pay MORE to get the finish over the whole top of the guitar. Just doesn't seem right to me. I mean, the cu24 on the other page is also charcoal burst and the charcoal finish covers the whole top of the guitar, but the tremonti doesn't?? I dont get it. I'm sure i'll still like the guitar and Singlecuts looks great, just disappointed that it's not how i pictured it after spending that much.

Update - Just talked to someone at prs... my tremonti charcoal burst that i ordered is going to get finished like mark's... anyone out there who wants their charcoal burst tremonti to look like mark's, when you put in your order you have to add the option that you want the "contour burst" finish so that it doesn't arrive with the "teardrop shape burst" like all the pics i've been seeing. The contour burst will have the charcoal finish over all of the guitar and fade to black only at the edges. Hope that helps anyone who wants it that way. Will be sure to put up some pics when i get it!!!

ok, that's great. hope you'll like its looks. Have you ask if they will deliver her with black pickup rings? changed them on mine which makes the guitar look killer. also the switch tip is black and wasn't too expensive. When do you receive this guitar?

I totally love her (well, I have a black cherry Tremonti 2 model too, so there's nothing new on it) and it really plays great, it will have to get a setup from the luthier. I can't cope with the PRS setup this time, the strings are setup too high, but that always depends on your individual taste.

Yeah i saw your pic of your collection, pretty killer! You should post a new pic with the black pickup rings and switch tip! I asked the sales guy to tell them to put black pickup rings on it and he said he'll try. I dont see why they couldn't though. I found out i had to pay a little more because to get the "contour" burst pattern like Mark's is considered a custom paint job. Glad to hear your loving yours, probably going to get mine set up when i get it. I have 4 electrics and i want to have them all set to a different tuning, my charcoal tremonti is going to be my half step down tuning. I'll post some picks of my collection once i get this bad boy. They said about 60 days but it could be sooner...
